Hey loves,
If you have been asking yourself lately what you are really committed to, this week is for you.
The big story arrives on Friday night, October 23. Venus, who has been retrograde in Scorpio since early October, meets the Sun at what astrologers call the cazimi, the “heart of the Sun.” The Sun also moves into Scorpio that morning, so Scorpio season begins with a rare moment of clear light shining on what you love, what you value, and what you are ready to let go of.
Picture pulling back the mulch in late autumn to look at the roots. You are not ripping anything out. You are simply seeing what is alive, what has rotted, and what is storing strength for winter. Before that moment, Venus squares Pluto on Tuesday and the Sun opposes Chiron on Wednesday, so a tender spot or two may surface. Go gently. Your body will usually tell you before your mind does, so notice the belly, the jaw, and the breath.
And because Mercury turns retrograde in the early hours of Saturday, October 24, this is also a good week to finish, back up, and review before you start anything new.
This week’s full issue includes the day-by-day transit table, a nervous-system forecast, the Soft Landing Rose Tea with full contraindications, the Cazimi Compost Ritual, journal prompts, and a Lean Into and Ease Back From guide.
